2020 Topps Stadium Club Chrome Preview, Checklist, Boxes for Sale
2020 Topps Stadium Club Chrome is the latest new addition to the company’s stable, set to trot out on December 9.
2020 Topps Stadium Club Chrome Base Set
Topps seems to be making a strong effort to make the Chrome set different than the regular TSC set. The Chrome base set will have 400 cards compared to 300 in the regular one. Those 100 new cards will be a mix of rookies, stars, and past greats. Topps is also pledging to use new photos for players who appear in the regular set.
There won’t be a lot of parallel cards and most will be quite limited including:
• Refractor
• Gold – #’d to 50
• Orange – #’d to 25 (hobby exclusive)
• Red – #’d to 5
• SuperFractor – #’d 1 of 1
Inserts
Remember Beam Team basketball inserts from the 1990s? They’re back in Stadium Chrome with a 25 card checklist. There should be at least three per box.
Other inserts include:
Power Zone – 25 subjects. 1 per box
Emperors of the Zone – 25 subjects. 1 per box
Each will have parallel versions including:
• Gold Refractor: sequentially numbered to 50.
• Orange Refractor: sequentially numbered to 25 (hobby exclusive).
• Red Refractor: sequentially numbered to 5.
• SuperFractor: numbered 1/1.
Autographs
Topps says the base card autograph checklist will include more than 50 players signing on-card.
Parallel versions will include:
• Gold Refractor: sequentially numbered to 50.
• Orange Refractor: sequentially numbered to 25 (hobby exclusive).
• Red Refractor: sequentially numbered to 5.
• SuperFractor: numbered 1/1.
Beam Team inserts will also have autographed versions, all numbered to 25 or less along with Red Refractors numbered to 5 and 1/1 SuperFractors.
Lone Star Signatures will be numbered to 25 or less with Red and SuperFractor parallels while Power Zone autographs will be numbered to 10 or less, also with Red and SuperFractor versions.
2020 Topps Stadium Club Chrome boxes are currently available on eBay for around $220.
