REA Auction Set to Open with 3,400 Lots
It used to be the only auction the company held each year but while Robert Edward Auctions has added to its calendar with two more catalog sales and a series of smaller events, the company’s Spring showcase is still the flagship. A number of high-profile cards and memorabilia highlight the sale, including a 1952 Topps Mantle PSA 7, a 1903 Breisch-Williams Honus Wagner SGC 50, and gem mint rookie cards of Tom Brady and Wayne Gretzky.
REA is known for its pre-War expertise, and while the auction will include plenty of ancient baseball cards and memorabilia, every decade of pro sports is covered. From an 1869 Cincinnati Reds CDV to a limited-edition Mike Trout red refractor rookie card, it’s a big party—with a lot of new arrivals ready to jump into the bidding fray.
“The hobby is in one of the most exciting phases in recent memory, and we cannot wait to share the remarkable items we have available in this auction,” said REA President Brian Dwyer.
